Sleek, architect-owned studio in this iconic Mies van der Rohe designed building. This spacious west-facing unit offers a perfect blend of historic charm and modern updates. Owned and meticulously maintained by an architect, it features the original Republic Steel kitchen cabinets, thoughtfully updated with a honed black granite countertop, under-mounted sink, and stainless steel appliances. The recently refreshed bathroom includes a new sink and vanity, and the separate dressing area provides additional functionality. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and offer open views of the vibrant neighborhood beyond, enhancing the airy, expansive feel. Black mesh roller blinds and commercial-grade carpet complement the clean, minimalist design. Ample closet and cabinet space add to the practicality. The well-managed building includes excellent amenities: sundeck with stunning views of Lake Michigan, bike room, laundry facilities, on-site market, valet dry cleaning, 24-hour door staff, and on-site management. Garage Parking is $300/month (there is a waitlist). Unbeatable location near Northwestern University, Lurie and Shirley Ryan Hospitals, Michigan Avenue shopping, the Museum of Contemporary Art, lakefront trails, farmers' markets, and excellent public transit. No pets or smoking. Longer leases welcomed.
