Attea Middle School is a high-performing school that focuses on the developmental needs of young students as they make the transition between childhood and adolescence. Teachers are very dedicated, instill high expectations, and help with developmental skills necessary for successful individual achievement and shaping caring and ethical citizens. Test scores at this school are far above the state average, which implies that most student are performing at or above grade level.
Attea makes sure each student has a positive experience by providing a safe school environment, flexible block scheduling and teams where students not only take classes together but build lasting relationships with one another. The school program also puts an emphasis on tech use of higher-order thinking skills, hands-on instructional strategies and getting students involved with different extracurricular activities.
